GENERAL
How will this project work?
Using RPGMaker, TKRB Intl Fan Museum will host a digital walkable museum featuring the videos, photos, art, music, writing, etc of Touken Ranbu fans from around the world. Visitors can browse and enjoy fan content celebrating 10 years of swords.
Each participant will get a "gallery space" in the game in which their work(s) for the event will be linked. Basically: think of it as a walkable, interactive link compilation!TKRB Intl Fan Museum will collect fanworks throughout the second half of December 2024 and early January 2025 in preparation for a January 14th 2025 "opening".*We'll open a donation jar as well; all proceeds will go toward webspace cost, and anything left over will be used to keep the website up and running longer.
Who can participate?
Anyone! We won't be running applications; submissions are open to creators of all kinds anywhere in the world.
What type of project can I submit?
Anything goes! Cosplay or craft photos, writing, art, music, videos, etc.
Will every submission be put on the website?
With the exception of pieces that violate the guidelines listed below, yes!
Do I have to create a new piece for this, or can I submit something I already made?
We ask that all submissions be created specifically for the TKRB Intl Fan Museum Event!
How do I submit my piece?
Please see the "contact" section!
🌸
SUBMISSION CONTENT GUIDELINES
Do I have to stick to the theme?
Please try to at least loosely stick to the theme of "anniversary celebration", though you're free to interpret it as you'd like and incorporate other themes, too.
Is R-18 content allowed?
No; this will be an all-ages project, so please curate your content for a general audience!
Is shipping content (sword/sword or sword/saniwa) allowed?
We allow for the inclusion of shipping content as long as it isn't the focal point of your piece!
Is dark content and/or interpretations of the theme allowed?
Yes, but again, please keep things rated for a general audience and remember to include any content warnings in your submission so that we can add it to your piece description!
🌸
Please note that we will not be including any pieces that violate these guidelines in the website display. We also retain the right to reject content that goes against the spirit of the project.
